About me

I have been teaching my language since 2006. I started my teaching career at the University of Bangor, Wales UK, in 2006 and I graduated in 2007 from the University of Cagliari, Italy, with a BA in Languages and Communication (Hons). Then I moved on to study at the University of Siena, Italy, where I gained an MA in Languages and Intercultural Studies (Hons), in 2010. After that, I moved to London where I have been teaching since. I am currently working as a teacher of Italian in two universities and I love teaching my online private classes. The opinions of my amazing students

"I was an absolute beginner when I started lessons with Claudia a few years ago and I have reached the stage where I can have proper conversations, understand films and read newspapers (slowly) in Italian. It has been such an enjoyable experience to learn with Claudia, her lessons are a perfectly balance of structured learning and fun and I really couldn't ask for a better, calmer, more patient teacher than Claudia. She has made learning Italian a joy."

"I feel so lucky to have Claudia as my teacher and only wish that I had had such an excellent and inspiring teacher when at school. I enjoy my lessons enormously and could not recommend her more highly"

"Claudia is a fantastic teacher. She has a very unique and creative approach which gives my son a chance to explore the language and practicing his listening, speaking and reading in a fun and tailored way. I would recommend Claudia to anyone who wants to learn Italian!”

"Claudia has a real passion for the Italian language and her desire to share that with others comes across in her teaching. I have studied Italian for some years with a variety of different tutors and, whilst many have been good, Claudia is by far and away the best. I always look forward to her lessons, because I know I am going to enjoy them and learn a lot. With her friendly encouragement, my confidence to speak has greatly increased, while her detailed feedback on homework has helped my written Italian enormously. Learning with Claudia is fun because she is simply a great teacher who brings out the best in those of us fortunate enough to be in her class! ”

"Claudia has been my Italian tutor for a number of years, both face-to-face and online. Whilst she is extremely organised and highly skilled in her teaching approach, the sessions are also fun, friendly and always enjoyable. Claudia is very adept at knowing how far to nudge me forward without losing confidence, and uses a wide variety of media and teaching aids to keep me engaged at all times. I have had a number of tutors over the years, and can honestly say that Claudia is by far the best.”

"I have been a student of Claudia’s for over four years and couldn’t have hoped for a better teacher. I’m a retired 65 year old and my capacity for retaining new knowledge isn’t what it was but she is eternally patient and good-humoured. She couldn’t make the grammar clearer than she does and her lessons are always interesting and, best of all, fun. If I’d had language teachers of her calibre in my school days I’m sure I’d have been inspired to study languages longer than I did.”
